While everyone's posting the Tree of Life today, I want to talk about what's on it. 🌍

Hidden within the carvings of Animal Kingdom's iconic tree is a tribute to Dr. Jane Goodall, a small plaque honoring the woman who changed how we understand the animal kingdom forever.

Beside it? A carving of David Greybeard, the chimpanzee who first trusted Jane during her earliest days at Gombe. That moment of connection between a human and a wild animal is exactly what Animal Kingdom was built to celebrate.

Dr. Goodall played a meaningful role in the creation of Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney honored that legacy right into the DNA of the park itself.
